This is the story of Mollie.

Once upon a time there was this high school kid named Ritchie. He joined bimmerforums in 6/2007 (respect yo) due to his desire to own an e36 m3. Fast forward to his second day on the board and bam! Reality hits! He can't afford an e36 m3! So then a few of his buddies introduced him to God's Chariot! Thus began the epic quest to acquire an e30. In 2008, nearly a year after he joined bf.c he found a clean 90 325i schwartz autotragic e30 on the bf.c ga forum.

Couple of days later Merry Christmas!!!!

this was the day i drove her home love at first sight!

I got to spend a few lovely days with her before putting her away for 6months!!! (a hard 6 months!!!) 6 months because I go to school in NY and there was no way i'd have a car in manhattan.

And thus begins the story of Mollie and Ritchie

After a little while, the initial loveydubby feelings wore off (not that i don't love her anymore, you know life goes on!) Ritchie wanted to get Mollie some new shoes. A few pms later (thanks 2slowforu!!!) Mollie had a good set of 17" 4x100 BBS RXs on their way out of sandiego!

Thanks to Geordie at butler tire for the toyo proxes!

obviously the 4x4 is unacceptable so a few months later, the founding father of lost souls racing *shameless plug*

and a bunch of bf.c ga members (thank you!!!) swapped in ie3s and billys!

    much better

it was also decided then the autotragic had to go so a few months later thanks to the founding father again of lost souls racing *shameless plug 2* and the bf.c ga board mollie was a 5spd.

sorry not too many pictures of the action that took place but it was by far epic!

hrmm i think i just put the swap in the wrong order but oh well!

and since we're on a tangent here's some pics of mollies travels!

my life so far takes me to ny for school, atl for home and aspen co for the summer times. so since mollie stays all couped up at home 10 months of the year i figure why not bring her with me to CO!

beautiful drive out there. actually ended up driving her to Albuquerque NM for a friend's wedding and then up to aspen! e30s are the best!

up independence pass near aspen, co where it was snowing!

so anyways Mollie has made the treck 2 years in a row just fine spare a stuck caliper (thanks aaron!) one year in aspen. a local shop in glenwoodsprings co wanted close to 1k to replace the brakes! a great guy on the forums aaron (forgot his sn but he used to drive an e30 m3) drove out from denver to help me out!

after the summers i would part ways with mollie and she would rest up while i slave away at school...at the same time i would stock pile parts of all kinds...euro smileys/euro plates/spoilers/islips/etcetc and finally i was able to install them this christmas break!

Car looks great!! What size tires did you go with? Spacing out the rear wheels would make it look a lot better.
