Also if the car is on fire and your up against a wall you can get out of the window much quicker than say rolling down the window a crawling out or getting out the other side of the car.

some people take it that seriously, i'm not good enough for that to make a difference... but the people who win their classes take it to these levels. Auto-x is about balance and having the largest control over the car, it doesn't matter if it lasts 60 seconds or 60 hours. It would make less difference in a six hour enduro when you'd have the time to seperate from the field- most auto-x's are won by tenths/hundredths of seconds... every little bit helps.PNW Crew
