Out with the old...no way 56k

Finally, some pics for me to post! Here's a few pics of the engine removal, in the process of stripping the car to the bare chassis as Jordan did to send it out for paint/body.

Out came the m20b27, took us all of 45 minutes...way easier than I expected.

318i we're putting an engine in, my ES,
Greg's IS, and off in the background to the
left of the garage, my honduh :) Also,
there's two 85 burgundrot e's in the two bays...

We're working on it... :) As you can see, there's a bit of land to spread them out on. That's the garage I rent (200 a month!) The house on the land is rented by a redneck family that belongs on Springer.

Did you spot your radiator in the second pic? :)

Haha, you got to see it up close. I still use it around town for parts and engine hoists, etc.

Im comming to MASS again next weekend. Anything you're trying get rid ofjust let me know. I'm driving down in my smooth riding ETA with the 2.2" drop that can barely clear the rocks in your driveway. BTW did I leave my oilpan there? lol

Watch out for that last one, I think you did leave an oil pan :) Speaking of, we just sold my oil pan, took us longer (much) to get that off, even on that hoist, than it did to get the whole damn engine out. Stupid star bolts.

What you need heat for pansy? :) I have an industrial propane heater. Heats that place up like Jamaica, mon. But we won't need it. Pansy. :)

No, but if you want a sport TAN leather interior for real cheap, we can work something out - M42Technik is trading that plus cash for my houndstooth (you didn't see that.) $400 for the black, son :)
