I knew I would get some lip about my lip. Its all good. The PO fubared the front end and looking for new a new valence may not even fit. I did have an "I" lip but a road gator pit it off. Then I got this one. This was about the time it was first discovered that it can work and then was more "acceptable"...but then again so was the ford skirts. Then I got bit again by another gator but the lip didnt move. I couldnt say the same for a fog though. These things are cheap and as long as the fitment in fine and armoralled, i think they look fine. I will rock a "IS" lip some time, just not on the top of the list.

Wheels: AT Italia Type 5 M-Contour replicas. I have done a bit of research on them and correct me if im wrong OG; These where made by a chinese company specifically for the e30s but BMW shut them down for trademark issues. I think that Discount tires once sold these. Yes, they do contour the same direction...i dont care. Its not too often that wheels are made for our cars that have perfect fitment and size.

        Cheers!
I thought they were made by a company called AKT in Japan.
I have the same wheels and they are stamped "Made in Japan" in the back.

Nice work on the wheels though. Mine were refinished by the person I bought them from in a diamond cut finish and although it looks good, I quite like the OEM silver look you have there. :)

Ya see, im not even sure. the next time I take them off, ill check to see whats stamped on them...you are prolly right.

I actually thought about polishing the lips but for the purposes of this car, I didnt see a need. Thanks though!

pretty sure you guys a little confused...

those aren't 'contour' reps, they're 'm-system throwing star reps'. the 'contour' you're talking about most commonly came on the e36 M3, while the m-systems were found most commonly on the e34 M5.

semantics really, they look real nice.

Yep, that got my me. They are T-star reps. I know that there was an ad in a older magazine like Car and Driver (discount tire?) that sold these and I wish I had an older copy of one to read exactly what they are. Thanks.

Thanks! Actually the carpet and mats are dark gray.

The shifter is Z4 2.5 with a ZHP knob and it feels great. I would recommend. Its been years since doing this but IIRC, there was a few pic of the different shifters on the swap thread. I was on the fence with the Z4 3.0 but I didnt want it too notchy but I wanted it nice and and low. A bit of research, I narrowed it down to what I have. I was in the middle of a clutch job so it was the perfect time to do the mod.
