Good morning everyone, Just purchased my first E30 the other day for $800. Plain Jane 325 with the 5spd manual. Need to replace the rack and pinion as it is leaking out of a seal. But other than that seems to run great. Changed oil and flushed coolant so as I brought it home.

I also run a CNC machine shop and weld shop so if there are any ins and outs hit me up, love making stuff.

that car should make a killer daily, with the mpg the eta gets. and while you are replacing the power rack, chain out the control arms and bushings + inner and out tie rods. it will a huge difference in the handling. GL with her.

it seems a nit oxidized in some areas but fine in others, so im going to do some clay bar action one day soon and see how she turns out.

killer gas mileage! i have a 91 5.0 and a 94 GMC sierra as well, and both em em eat up the wallet for DD. Will look into changing that while im there. thanks. much appreciated

Well if you are replacing the steering rack, you can upgrade to the E36 rack, it's quicker. Anyway, welcome!
