boston got destroyed too. my 318 does suprisingly really well in the snow and i got shitty all seasons
Same here, I was surprised I was able to putt around in about a foot of snow, This morning even SUV's are getting stuck, so I rather not even try getting out until later on.

I really don't know why...everyone always says they're aren't that good in the snow..if my diff wasn't worn to hell and back and i had snowtires it'd be a beast in the snow. as long as you keep your momentum it's fine. I've only gotten stuck twice this year and spun out once hitting a patch of ice..driven in every snowstorm, too.
it cracks me up seeing people driving around in their summer wheels/tries. Last night I left the shop around 10pm, going up the hill to my house there were so many cars/trucks stranded. They just stared as my 77 280 benz with snow tires blew by them. They were sitting in their 4x4's trying to figure out how a car like mine can go in the snow and theirs with fancy 4x4 would not.
Get snow tires/wheels people!
Wish we would get some real snow up here in Alaska, its been relatively light so far this year.
Took these crappy iPhone pics a couple months ago during a few days of freezing rain and then promptly forgot about the pictures.
Driving the 325iX along a section of pipeline for a biweekly inspection. Car did great in 6 inches of soggy snow.
snow tires are boss. Mine is rwd, open diff, and i make it up the driveway without fault, every time. useful tidbit: driveway is 15% grade and over 150 feet long.
OP, your red iX looks great against all the white! it really pops out of the monochromatic winter landscape
