    Hi, I'm Alex.

I look forward to all I can learn from you guys. Here are some pics of my E30 M50 swap. The red car is the parts car, it was ran into a cinderblock wall by the previous owner.

These are my 2nd and 3rd BMWs. I sold my E36 M3 and went to Germany for a while and now I am back. We also have an E38 in the family.

The silver car is an '85 325 and I am looking to restore it to an original look with the nice shiny steel bumpers, just I want to put the is/es front bottom lip thingy on it.

      Yeah I hope it is.

When the guy wrecked it he broke oil pan open, and then car shut off right away. You think I should put a new oil pan on it and test it before I put it in the new car? I doubt there is damage since it shut of so soon...

pull a bearing and check it out. if they are really messed up the engine will squeek when turned over and/or there will be bits of bearing material on the pan
