OMG! nice work Mike. you make me regret selling that car more every day! :)
All...for the full effect, here are pictures of the car when I found it abandoned several years ago. I kept it for a while and spent several months cleaning it up and getting it running again. The car was owned many years ago by a friend of mine who did the engine swap. it passed trough a few owners before i found it again in northern virginia. I wanted to keep it, but have two 2002 restorations in progress and did not have time or shop space to keep going on the 320.
it looked A LOT better when i sold it to Mike. I can't wait to see it at the Vintage!

Man, that was a true barn find huh Marshall? Thanks for the pics. I've buffed the paint to a mirror finish, which is surprising after seeing those pictures. I got rid of the ricey white gauge cluster and replaced it with a euro cluster. There was a mile of unnecessary wire that went went with it. The sound system was completely scrapped and replaced. I found all kinds of mouse litter and a dead mouse in the rear parcel shelf. The blower was replaced along with the tree nuts that were stuck inside and raddled whenever I turned on the heat. The after market fuel pressure regulator was faulty which compensated for the three vacuum leaks. All that was sorted. The car runs really smooth now. The two things I have left is replacing the cracked dash and fixing the steel panel behind the rear seat, which someone in their infinite wisdom decided to cut out to install speakers behind the seats. Once those things are fixed, it will be near perfect. See you at the Vintage.sigpic

rest of the running gear working well?
my friend that owned it 10+ years ago did all the good performance stuff. the cheesy wiring, white gauges, and stereo appeared from one of the unknown owners later.
count this 320 as a two part save.....makes for a good backstory!marshall
