new e30 owner here

hey everyone just bought an e30... not sure how to post pics yet i just got accepted to the forum so ill get some pics up later today. thought i lucked out getting coilovers and sway bars and a 325is engine swap... boy was i wrong... needs a lot but hey... thats life i guess. needless to say its fast, very. i used to drive a miata and this definitely holds its own in the canyons.

Most (if not all, me included) are going to hate your taillights. Stock looks much better.

Hey its got a nice drop! and really all it needs is a few panels painted and some oem tails, then you got yourself a beauty.

i agreed... it sucks because the guy who sold it was some shady character... i f'd up not knowing i would need a new cat, front sway, fix an oil leak and the wiring is complete crap... i need to either redo ALL of it or by some grace of god try and fix it. i have fuses popping so theres a short somewhere.

Theres definately plenty of good info on this forum, and i had all the same problems when i got mine, now the electrical is sorted here comes everything else lol. Good luck with the car!

you could smoke those tails are a quick patch, wouldnt look so bad. other than that looks like a killer project car.

Completely rewire it. The time you spend trying to sort out the clusterfuck the previous owner left behind is time wasted when you find out you need to rewire it anyway.

blenercloud do you know where i could find any parts for just wiring for cheap? i called haruts its an old bmw junkyard in the valley to find out some prices but they seem a little high in comparison to what i have seen the parts going for
