To all of you who were misinformed about my Cabrio


Its a 91 325 Cabrio, auto, I picked it up w/a blown oil pan, bent control arm, flat tires, ripped top, trashed interior, sun damaged, good body in Arizona on Craigslist. I negotiated the price down. I got home and saw another, a white one, on C/L. 17in TSW's, wheels, supersprint exhaust, from tip to manifold, H&R lowering springs, Billsteins in the rear, with Koni adjustable shocks in the front, new control arms w/poly bushings, 5 spd setup w/a chip. The guy never finished his project. I bought that one also $500 I converted everything over to my 91. After I was done with conversion, a few months later, I stumbled onto an original M Tech bodykit. The guy was parting out his black 325 cabrio in a barn. It was kind of dark in there, I was picking up the release latch for the convertible top when he happened to mention it had a nice steering wheel with an M emblem. I then step back from his cabrio & noticed the M package. I kept my cool & said how much do you want for these little body trims. He said I don't know make me an offer. So I did. LOL:grin:. I offered him $150 it was all there minus the front bumper, He included the trunk w/lip spoiler. You gotta love Craigslist.......Here are my pictures. Its still work in progress

Did you swap your interior too? Or are those just seat covers in the first couple pics? Oh and I hate you....for finding deals like this on Craigslist. Was the guys vert' in the barn an original M-Tech? Or just body kit??

No, the seats originally were grey leather, but sun dried from Arizona. I had them redone two tone some will like some wont. Not one bit of rust on it. The wheels came w/the other car I picked up for $500. The guy told me he spent alot of many on the wheels. I did get a nice deal on the 5 lug rear set up. Still in my garage. I am waiting to score on the front ones now :nice::nice::nice: LOL

Thanks, I already hard topped the beotch. I traded some girl she needed a soft top I happen to have an extra one laying around. Got myself a hardtop for nothin I will take some pics with it soon & post it

I know you didn't mean to jam me up. No worries. Thanks for the help on trying to get me on. I had to create another user ID I just didnt understand why some of these guys were coming down on me there are cabrio's & hardtops w/M tech body kits I never saw them getting beat up over it.
