335i tourer Noobie from the UK saying hi

Just thought I'd say Hi :D My name's Charlie and I'm the other side of the pond to you guys. My current wagon is a faily well specced ebay bargain 325ia tourer, the great thing is that for the UK it's completly solid with no rust (major problem over here) the bad thing is that it's zinnobar red/pink.

When we get the right weather I'll give it a good mop to bring it back to it's fomer glory - that'll be a two week window over here

    The spec is as follows:

    1988 BMW 325ia Tourer
    Zinnobar red
    204,897miles
3 owners from new (me being the 3rd)
    Switchable 4spd auto
    3.91LSD
    M20B25 well serviced but standard
    Sebring stainless exhaust system
    60/40mm drop Apex springs
    Blistein B6 shocks
Powerflew polly bushes front & back
Fast road pads with grooved brembo discs
E46 330 clubsport steering rack (3 turns Lock to Lock) with solid linkage
Full cloth sports interior with rear headrests
    Maplight rear view mirror
Rear load cover with integrated luggage net
    Electric windows front and back
    Heated seats
    Heated electric wing mirrors
    Heated washer jets
    Drivers door lock heated
Headlight wash wipe with intenesive screen wash
    Smoked Bosch smiley headlights
    4300k 55w HID lights
Factory aircon ice cold running R134a gas
    13 button OBC
    Factory fitted cruise control
    M tech 2 370mm steering wheel
M tech 2 body kit (door pods need painting to zinnobar red)
15" BBS oem wheels painted black with polisghed lips with Toyo Proxes

The car was brought as a project for very little

Please kind it's not perefect but one day it will - you'll have to exuse the dull setting's for the photo's.

I'm currently in the process of putting my M30B35 back together to go back in with the manual box, E28 535 lightweight flywheel, M3 prop, 3.07LSD etc etc

Looks really good, and you cant go wrong with an M30 touring. Zinno isn't a bad color either, with a polish and a wax it looks really good.

Trade for my left nut? Because I would give it for this car.

I can't wait to get it in there, had the M30 in my old 2dr saloon running a 3.91lsd and it was crazy, use to pull off in second as 1st gear was useless. Very easy to get the back end out When it's done I'll update this thread.

Can't belive what I've been missing, definately a great place and I'll be sticking round. It's interesting how things are done and the difference in the trends over here. I've got a lot of reading ahead
