I love how this thread progressively got worse as it went on, it was a roller coaster of emotion.
Sad for the car
Confused on what really went on
Then that picture... lol
Someone should buy it and just cover it with tape, then leave it at his house. Maybe he just decided to buy a new car instead, probably a smart car.

He's obviously not planning on rebuilding since he sold all the parts... but where's the engine? He put so much time in to faking the displacement of the block and polishing those piston crowns!
According to "Steve Zissou", who became a member January 7 of this year, and whose driveway and penchant for photography and optimistic parts prices resembles someone from around these parts, the cleanliness of the parts being sold from (presumably) this very car is all down to luck...

I'm saying that Zissou is Japandrew and got on here merely to pedal the pieces he grabbed off the car before it ended up in the crusher.

If this Steve Zissou/Japandrew theory is correct, what do I win for uncovering it in the first post of the original part-out threadHa, I hope it's not true. But if it is, I wish I would have bought something from that part-out just to say that I own something from Japandrew's former car.
