Because I thought that running from my problems was easier than facing them head on. I learned the hard way that if you don't face them head on, you get hit harder from behind. Literally.

if you're trying to run, you have maybe a minute to make some turns and hide, otherwise they radio it in and the helicopter will be on way.
and you are not gonna out run the helicopter, the thing can sustain 150 no problem.
however, i know several people that have out run full police pursuits, heli included, but on sportbikes, and they typically turn themselves in later on(after they hid their bike).

every story i've heard, you need to be in excess of 160-165 for over 8-10 minutes.


better yet, don't run, take the fine and enjoy your car another day!

What a horrible picture. I got pulled over for "running" one time. They dropped everything after 2 years of going to court because there really was no story. Just bad luck on my part, being in the right place at the wrong time.

that suckkssss! ive had to run a couple times but on back roads i wouldnt test my luck on a highway tho. on the bright side atleast ur still alive after that wreck
