My new daily driver, a slow build

I finally made the big switch. I sold my 2008 Gti and bought a 1987 325is. Before switching i made sure all the mechanics were done such as water pump, timing belt, vavle cover gasket and oil pan gasket. Im goin to take pics and update.

here are some things I would like to do...

    new radio/speakers
    convert to plastic bumpers
    install a roof rack
    paint job
    fix speedo & gas guage
    fix a/c

I've done some minor stuff such as,

dye the rug and headliner black
    fix door check
    install new struts

So as i build im open to opinions ;)

HUGE improvement in the interior. At least it looks that way in the pics. What did you use to dye the carpet?

I forgot the name of it, but it was a plastic, vinyl and carpet spray can. ran about 9.97 a can. I used a total of 4 cans for the rug. Also, the rug came out not to hard.

I got the seats reupholstered and the color is off on the door panels im still waiting for some dye. The new vinyl color is a tad bit off from cardinal but still looks good in my opinion ;)

Nice! The interior does look a lot better! And I like what you did to the carpet, I would like to that on my car too, as I hate the current color of it.
