I vote to leave them gold, I think they look great on black.
If all my trim was blacked out, I might. But I feel like the gold clashes with the chrome.

Not bad, I'm with you.. I don't know how I feel about the black with gold. Can't wait to see it dropped. Also I'd removed the pinstripe since it doesn't look in the best shape. I removed mine with some adhesive remover and a razor blade.
Yeah, the paint's pretty roached in general. I am on the fence about what to do about that. Part of me wants to use this car as a chance to learn to do bodywork, buy a compressor and learn to paint. The pinstripe will definitely not be staying, regardless! Looking forward to seeing your car at a Missouri meet soon!

    Paint them...
    Then, ship them to me.
Hah! Think I'll be hanging on to them for a while, but I'm glad you like `em!

Gold worked great on a white car, just not feeling it on the Schwartz! My wife now calls my car 'Sheba!'

Did you have your fenders rolled?

Definitely my old wheels and spacers. Looks good! Too bad you don't like the gold. Haha.

    Is your sedan a super-Eta?

Also those look like the RX's Matt (mr325) had for sale in Cali.
Si, senor! But, not for long! I have assembled almost everything to do the '327i' swap.

I'm pretty sure that's where Levent got the RX wheels! I'm going to strip them down, because, well, they're GOLD, and second, the powder coat job has a fair bit of orange peel. I'm going to see how they look after I get them media blasted, and see how much refurbing I have to do. Just going for a nice shiny silver (Not Chrome!).

Yep, no doubt there! Within the next 4 weeks, I'll be ordering from Guten Parts a set of Billstein Sports & (most likely) H&R sport springs. Also ordering every rubber bushing for front & rear suspension, as well as the Swaybarbarian kit.

She's got a looong way to go, my little sedan, but we're off to a nice start!
