Re: Trying to find my old '84 325

Hey all, anyone ever seen this car? It's an '84 325e with all newer bumpers, rear valence, and 325i motor in it. I had it in Orlando, sold it to South Carolina, and then heard it got sold to Atlanta. I would love to know it's still alive and kicking. Any leads? Thanks!

      KEEP LOOKING!!!

I bought a 325is back in 1989 and sold it in 2007 for $7500 before leaving Monterey, CA. The guy who bought it from NY found my ad in the Roundel and he put it in storage with his 88 M5 in the Bay Area. Fast forward a few years & cars, I was really missing the E30. I started looking for an "is" or M3 last fall but never found one near the condition of my old 325. On a lark, I decided to contact the guy I sold mine to in NY. As it turns out, he never moved the car to NY and had thought about selling it. Last December, I gave him his $7500 back so we essentially just cancelled the sale. I picked up the car from one of his friends at Fantasy Junction in Emeryville. The best part of this unbelievable story is he never processed the DMV paperwork so I am still the original owner. A new set of tires, fluid change & it was like it never left. Drove it back to Tucson, took the CA title into DMV, re-reregistered in AZ, $29. DONE!

DREAMS DO COME TRUE! NEVER GIVE UP!
