Keep the co-pilot. He looks pretty useful as a wheel chock.

Just kidding man. Cars coming along and I really dig the co-pilot.

Picked up some black leather seats from an e30 vert today for $200. A definite improvement over the stock seats :D

Again, the copilot wanted to steal the show and camp her ass right in front..

Another quick update if anybody cares.

Before: *notice the stupid looking license plate holder sitting there, with nothing to do. Also notice the cracked grills, some other parts were held together with gorilla glue :)

After: *notice the stupid looking license plate is no longer there. Also notice the grills have been replaced with euro grills from Abrahams Motorsports. No more gorilla glue for me :)

                  Excellent progress thus far.
                  Cudos on those seats.
Fucking hell – I can NOT wait for temps to start coming up in these parts.
Cudos on debt load – trust me, paying off debt is not a regrettable act.
Good luck on job hunt – it’s a bitch here too.
I feel you on wheels/(tires) – anything desirable is just straight-up expensive, and it takes a great deal of restraint to prioritize suspension/engine/body/interior health first. (for me anyway)
                  Also – I <3 brindle coats.

Thanks, seats were a great find. the guy has 3 e30 M3s and an e28 M5 lol

I'm still searching for rims, but I may have narrowed it down to one or two, depending on which is the better deal :)

I'm gonna try to get a couple Milwaukee guys together for a little e30 shoot, probably less than 6 cars. Should be fun, and you'd be more than welcome to come!

Also, brindle is the best :)

Basically the exact suspension setup I want for my 318. I'm liking the red tails a lot also.

I have never gotten why people color lights. So you got rid of the amber in the signals but you put it back into the fogs? It just doesn't make sense and with a few exceptions looks way cleaner when you just leave it alone.

Anyway honestly that is just a minor gripe in an otherwise great looking car. Plastic bumper cars are really starting to win me over. Good job and you will love the seats. I've got the same set but more worn out, night and day coming from torn up comforts.

                              Thanks guys :)

I really like the suspension, but the drop hats need some reworking unfortunately. As reported by some other users, they can cause the suspension to bind when you turn sharply (pulling into a parking stall for example).. I think it's caused by the drop hats actually moving or twisting around? I'll have to research it a little more, this happened for the first time yesterday..

And Wheelhop, I couldn't stand the amber lights in the rear. The amber fogs were admittedly a mistake lol I'm on the look-out for some new OEM fogs to stick in there.

                                Little update..

I had some 16x8 sportmax 501s on. Took them off and sold them a week later. Rolled around on gold 14" weaves for a bit too..

Then picked these up for $400 with hoosier slicks on. They have 2 events on them, and about 6 road miles. Any idea what I can sell the tires for??

15x7 borbet type A, flat caps on the way!
