Thank for the compliments. They will and do rust, it's a constant battle.

Mine's also being a massive jerk to me, brake problems on all 4 corners. The rear calipers are old and need to be replaced, and the front Stoptech BBK/Hawk Pads are proving problematic. I'm really unimpressed with the pads' sloppy backing plate castings, it's causing them to bind, and one of my rotors might have developed a crack from overheating.

No worries, the open wheel car is sitting on tires taller than designed for as rollers-it's 3/4" lower than that with the race rubber on.;)

I assume you mean the E30(the open wheel car is designed around a 2" ride height),that picture is as bought with billie sports and coilovers. Its sitting on the top of the struts as at is in that picture, pretty much impossible to go lower than that with those parts.
It's now sitting on the GC full kit with shortened housings and a touch lower,no desire to ruin the enjoyment of a car for the sakes of looks so it'll go no lower.Have to fab up a skid plate shortly before I start driving it(its an M52 so LOW pan).

I drive an '08 imprezza 5 door, can't wait to get rid of the pos.The E30 came to be because of my hate for it,it'll be the summer car and not sure what the winter beater will be yet.

I'm an avid autox'r,track junkie and built this AE86 corolla.I owned it for 9 years and it was never anything but a race only car,it morphed into a complete composite bodied, turbocharged and carb'd monster.Everything done in my garage.

Parted it to build an even nuttier car,I designed and built this R1 engined autox/track car.Weighs 900lbs,big wings are being built as well speak and will make well over what the car weighs in downforce.

I only got it to the testing state late last summer, here's the vid 1st time out.The vid is the 3rd lap lap ever, hadn't started to tweak things yet.

Engine Management: DomTune on Stock 2002 WRX ECU
    Peak Horsepower (@wheels): 256
    Peak Torque(@wheels, Pound-Feet): 236

Almost nothing about the car is stock. Amazing fun to drive, but a bit brutal due to the extent of modifications. It was built originally by Garage Tuning in CA, bought by an acquaintence of mine, who further modified it for autocross and had the body refinished in porche graphite. I purchased it from him around this time last year. Being a Subaru wagon, it can be best described as an 'ugly lesbianmobile' in the appearance department. The hellrot e30 is the looker of the two.
