    A quick photoshoot

So on my way home from a buds house I stopped and took a few pics. Yes the car is dirty, and no I have no plans to drop it so dont even mention it. The paint isnt to bad for 17 years if i do say so myself. Anyways onto the pics!

And the money shot in my opinion....

iX's rule. Nice pictures. Nice car.

Drop an iX? Not a chance if you live anywhere it snows, expecially the snow belt.

To each their own. They really dont look as bad in person, as the polished lip is much more pronounced and the spokes look a more subdued. And when they are in motion its awesome. I guess they're growing on me, and hey they came with the car with brand new rubber, so Im not complaining. The car also came with a beat up set of stock ix basketweaves with brand new hakkapelitas (or however you spell it), so thats a bonus as well. Ill probably end up mounting those back on eventually. But the summer tires are awesome, and so is having dedicated snow rims, saves money on mounting.

Ive been looking for a decent ix for over two years cause I snowboard at least twice a week in the winters in Lake Placid at Whiteface. Often Ill be driving through 6" drifts at 5am to make first chair on powder days, so the ride height is going to be money come mid-febuary when the real snow hits.

I dropped my IX using E36 M3 springs and its badass. .. and it still handles snow really well....the 205/50s dont like snow very much though. 8)

How many miles you got on that setup. And not going to lie, you dont know what snow is if you live in Virginia, try the Adirondacks of northern New York, right in the snow belt.

Doesn't matter how much ride height you have with that tread. Do you have winter tires or do those grip enough for you?

Good to see a fellow (snowboard) rider on here. Might have to start another thread to take a count of how many of us ski or snowboard!

Na that the beautiful part. The car came with the stock ix weaves with brand new hakkapelita studded snow tires on em!!!!! I think ill do better in the snow than I did with my Pathy
