how ever your car is very clean. i would say keep it that way. everyone here does the smoked lights, super low, body kit shit. it is good to be different, and there is something good to be said about a super clean oem daily driver!
Thanks! That was the original idea.
    I find smoked lights unattractive.
Low is cool, but this is a daily driver.

I think Euro trim will be next.
    Antenna: The cable is torn.
I hacked the cable, as well, in the rear to accommodate the lame universal connector.
    any hirschmann alternatives?

    few more:

Maybe a Z3 replacement. I was fortunate enough to buy my car after the PO fixed my antenna, it used to move up and down.

They are some really clean ZKW Ellipsoid fogs that I scored, paired up with some 35w 2000k HID's.

No, well they're just the bulbs that came in the HID Kit.
My HID Retrofit wasn't too hard.

+1 for keeping it pretty much as is. Respect how you want to keep it a good driver. Car looks solid.

Maybe track down some euroweaves (?)
Maybe remove spring pads from rear to reduce the rake a smidge.

I dealt with a f’ed up antenna cable too. Once that shielded antenna wire is cut – there’s not much to do but replace it. Found a working Hirschmann in classifieds + a complete antenna harness from a yard car – and I was up and running.

Hirschmann replacement alternatives are aftermarket – and don’t tend to last long. Aftermarket units include an antenna wire that sprouts from retract unit (no removable connection) with enough length to route up to head unit. In other words, an aftermarket retract unit will use power and turn-on leads from OE harness – but have their own antenna wire up to head unit.

A factory ‘antenna harness’ is made of a gray/shielded antenna wire, a red power wire, and a white ‘turn-on’ wire – all wound in slim, black electrical tape.

Hirschmann units do have a disconnection point at unit.

Removing and reinstalling an entire antenna harness is a pain – but very do-able.

I’m sitting on two left-over, antenna harnesses from yard visits. They’re not perfect – but they’ll work. Both have complete antenna wire – with small length removed from head unit end of white ‘turn on’ lead (easily fixed) PM me if you’re interested in one ($35 shipped).

Some use a Z3 mast – but you’d have to look into how those work..

your car is pretty sweet, i think what would make it look best off tho is to get a metal antenna, de-badge, moar low. then that thing will be sexy as fack, maybe some low offset wheels, but even without the wheels it would look fucking great.

Euro trim, all-red tails, stubby antenna (or the factory one), euro grilles, polished muffler, spacers in the rear (if you want to keep the weaves), otherwise get something with a polished lip to match your window trim. I'd also suggest removing any stickers you have on the glass, that front lip, etc.

antenna, rake, wheels (15" euroweaves would look perfect), and shadowline, in that order of priority. this is a good canvas, though.

I like it as it is. He dailys it so hes not into going low. If everyone is suggesting an antenna, the kid doesnt need much.
