I dig it. The lip too actually. I'm getting a roof rack for mine since I actually do ride alot and usually have to drive to where I'm going. Kinda sucks riding a BMX 10+ miles to the skatepark.91 318is M50 swapped

Ooooh damn, massive fail on my part! :D
No, I don't have a single problem with people owning single speed/fixed bikes. I loved my fixie, I wish I didn't have to sell it, and I want another one. What I can't stand are SS/fixies being used as fashion accessories on cars. And most of the time, the people that have them up there don't even ride them (not saying the OP, just generalizing).Comment

Come on man ease up. You are exactly the stereotype you are describing. Dont make me start pointing out your hipster cycling career short comings! :weak:Ooooh damn, massive fail on my part! :D

OP, cars both look awesome. Supra is tits with those BBS. And you need to make your trunk black! Keep the roof rack! They look great on E30's.

I NEVER had my bike up on my roof. And I rode my bike EVERYWHERE, when I had the chance. Sorry I didn't get a chance to ride my bike 24-7 like some of you guys do, but working 6 days a week is a bitch, and I can't exactly ride my bike in to the warehouse at 7am in Carhartts and Danners.Comment

Its not even that man. You built it out of the same social necessity and curiosity this dude has as well. You rode it to be seen, and when the track bike became trendy, you switched on it and started making fun of hipsters lolI NEVER had my bike up on my roof. At least he's riding. When we started the bike thread (and you stickied it), you would have sang a different tune. Dont be so flippidy floppidy.

Be serious. The track bike was already trendy long before I got one. I got it because it was cheap, simple, and yes, many of my friends had them, told me how rad they were, and it was fun as hell to ride. I never started making fun of hipsters after I was forced to sell it. I always made fun of the kids that bought them for their roof racks, drove them downtown to ride with the other kids, rode for 20 minutes, then put them back up on the racks and drove them home. Its not even that man. And telling me I rode it to be seen? Give me a fucking break, David. So I'm supposed to believe that you were riding one before everyone else where you lived? You were riding velodromes and buying NJS parts and Bridgestone frames before everyone else? Bullshit. You bought that Bridgestone frame for the same reason everyone else wanted one, because it was deemed "rare and cool" by the fixie scene. You had Deep-V profile wheels. You had track drops, NJS toe clips and Phil Wood hubs for the same reasons everyone else did. You can't be caught up in a trend and give people shit for doing the same things.Comment

Actually, yes. I was riding track bikes long before anyone else in my town. Hence, Skumlife. And hence my 100+ member crew. And they all know who I am and that I was there in the beginning and gave it a name and face for the city. Not to toot my own horn or anything... But that shit is fact. Ask ColdAccord or Terd Fergusen. I rode track bikes with them in 2007!Be serious. The track bike was already trendy long before I got one.
