    My E30....many pics

    Hi Folks

My first post here, although I've been around quite a bit, mostly just looking. Must say this is a great board with nice E30s.

Where I live E30 parts don't come by that much, so after many months of long searching I finally found a used, original MTech-II kit..my dream!! Its minus the front bumper and boot spoiler, but I figured I could live with the stock bumper painted body colour for the time being, and I don't care much about the spoiler anyway. Brought it to my bodyshop where the kit had to be stripped off of old paint, sanded down and primed, and finally refinished and painted.

Anyways, just got the car back, so here's some pics....enjoy....

Still have not done much yet as I bought the car in very stock condition....here's some details:

    '89 Lachssilber M20B20
    17" multipiece ROHs
40mm drop all round on Bilstein Sports + OMP springs with M3 bushings
    Shadowlined + blackened grill
    Clear Indicators + smoked tails
    MTech-I steering
Remus back box with twin DTMs (waiting to be installed)
WTB : Mtech-II Front Bumper (any leads....)

    Will update on future mods...cheers

    Nice car!

I think you need better bulbs or something though.. on that last pic the headlights look really... orange.

    Other than that, nice.

Damn, I usually don't like M-tech 2, but this one is great looking.

Excellent looking car. Only things I would do is find different wheels, and use a M-Tech II front bumper.

            Paint looks beautiful.

thanks guys...yes, i'm still looking for the right set of wheels to come by....got these when I was desperate to rid the 14" bottlecaps that came with the car when I bought it.

I am not quite decided on which rims would suit the MTech-II kit...but then again its good to keep an open eye for what's available within reach. What do you guys think?

I'm gonna go against the grain here but I like the wheels. For some reason they just look cool to me. 8) If you are gonna switch wheels I would go with some 16x9 3 piece BBS with a deep dish. Don't stretch the rubber though, thats gay. That car is very nice. German sedans are teh sex. I'm about to pick up a 325i 4dr. for the wifey. Two E30's in the family. :D As a matter of fact it's exactly the same as armeN's car. No pimpy chrome bottlecaps though. ;)

One of the best looking e30's on the board. As far as the wheels go, I'm a fan. They're unique and no one else has them (that I know of) on the board.

Me, personally, I'd like to see what the car would look like with a set of Alpina's on it.

Beautiful car. I love the kit, and as strange as it sounds, I actually kind of like those wheels. Very nice!

Awesome ride. Good to see a hot e30 in Singapore too, and it's a four door Mtech2 no less... When I was there a few months ago I only saw one e30, and it was a bit of a boonger (don't you guys have to pay really high taxes if you own a car that is older than 10yrs?)

It's kinda funny seeing Aussie made ROH wheels on your car :) A mate has them on his e30 - I think they'd look good with darker centres - a bit of contrast can make a big difference sometimes. Actually I think they'd look pretty good with black centres. Kinda like my car :)
