I was kind of disappointed in the turn out this year to be honest. I've been to every BlownEuros meet so far, and I'd have to say this one was the worst. Not only was the BMW crowd scarce, but it seemed like the cars that usually blow your mind weren't there either (given the exception of maybe 2 or 3, mainly that drag corrado. Thing was insane.) I think the thing that bothered me most though, was people being stupid when they were leaving (out of the same way we all entered) and in turn ended up getting that gate shut down and forcing people to leave through the other entrance/exit with that damn elevated spike strip thing. My car is fairly low, and I had a hard time getting over it. I can't imagine how some of the extremely low cars got out of there. Besides that, the no food stand thing really sucked too. Someone could have made some serious money just by selling burgers and hot dogs. I'll end my rant by saying that I don't know if I'll go to next years meet, which is pretty bad considering this is usually the one I look forward to the most. Hopefully the organizers can do a better job in the future and earn back some of the respect and positive attention that they've been allowing to slip away recently.

Ps: the BMW's that were there seemed to be holding it down pretty well, good looking cars guys! :)
Haha I do like your E34 a ton but not enough to part with my baby ;)
I have to agree with everything you said about this years meet. I was VERY disappointed. If you noticed there was a lack of the NY/CT crowd because there was a meet up there so that's one of the contributing factors of a poor show. Not having a food stand didn't make any sense because they could've raised a lot of money. And my cat and exhaust got stuck on the spike strip for a second when I was leaving. My buddy said someone finally taped one side of it down.....of course after I left haha. However, I'm trying to recruit a larger BMW crowd to go down to H20i this year in OC, MD. Best show and most fun of the year HANDS DOWN.

I'll definitely be attending H20 again this year. Was there for the first time last year and had a blast. I'll probably go down Thursday - Monday this time instead of Friday - Sunday. I actually saw you driving around quite a few times, and think you were staying right up the road from where I was! Either way, we'll definitely have to get a massive BMW group together for sure!

That's my younger brothers car. They are 17x9.5 Callaway Vette wheels, we believe to be off of a C4. After adapters, the fronts are sitting at e10 and the rears are et0.

Agreed. Would've liked to see a lot more bimmers down there but the ones that were there were pretty fly.

ooomph/j thanks for the feedback. We really do appreciate it. Let me address a few of your concerns. As far as the food vendor, we had two lined up, they were working a local carnival the previous few days. The rain the previous day/night unfortunately left their food stands stranded at another site burried in the mud. We offered to come pull them out with the Duece (army truck that was parked behind our trailer at the meet), but the owners of the land the carnival was on would NOT allow us to fearing the amount of damage to their grass. Understandable, and unfortunate. We figured having them booked meant that.... they'd be there. So let me start by explaining, and apologizing for that.

The exit/entrance issue was caused entirely by the few assholes who decided it was a great place to do a burnout, try and drift (and almost eat the wall/fence/curb) and some people who thought that $5 to donate to a children's charity was "bull shit and I shouldn't have to pay that". So towards the end of the day we decided to close that gate. We very much would like to hold more events at Sesame Place, so when we had discussed with them "No reckless driving" and made it clear to people online that it wouldn't be tolerated... we were hoping it would be self policed... which for the most part it was. I heard some people tore the kid in the white Z3 with the wing a new one for doing a burnout in the middle of the meet. If we are there again, I will personally see to it that the bump and spikes are taken care of so it will not be an issue.

Please, any constructive comments about the meet feel free to PM me, post them, or email them to info@blowneuros.com

I want to thank those of you that DID come out, we had over 1000 people show up this year and was our second best turnout to date. Oooomph, I saw you roll in car looked great as always, and the guy with the white e30 with the e30 trailer, I commented to you how much I love that thing on your way in. I think I was working the gate at the time.

If you guys give me a head count next year, and an approx. arrival time (try and show up as a group) I can do my best to set aside some dedicated parking for you as a group.

ooomph...Still have those pics of your car at my shop son...I keep them in a speacial place when I was there I talked to allen and he explained the deal about the vendors(sorry MPD47)..The show was all in all a good turn out. Neil rolled up with the trailer, and every other E30 that rolled was an alpine including mine and ooomph's. So basically the only cars that mattered and showed up were alpine, except for newman's.:):)

I thought that the location was better than last years in terms of ease to find and get to and for feeling like everyone was at the same event - last year felt very splintered.

I left pretty early because I had other work to attend to on Sunday but I thought it was well done and definitely an improvement. not without its flaws, but not much is - I chalked the flaws up to growing pains of a new venue and a bigger turnout

I cant comment on the ass-hattery from later in the day but it is is a shame that a few bad apples can potentially ruin it for the rest of us.

all said - good work gentlemen.

Agreed..left early enough that I did not see the bad stuff. Chic N Pete's crab fries were calling all of our names by about 12:30-1:00

Not saying the event was bad in anyway just more BMW's...was really surprised with all the guys on these forums of how many did not show.
