Finally mounted up my "fill and drills "

After 5 months of piecing together spacers, lugs, tire and wheels Im just not to happy with the results . These wheels look great on other cars, the wheels just look massive to me.....kinda like a Cadillac with 24"s on it. Maybe it just needs to grow on me ? I should have just bought 15"s with 225/50's. I was really holding back from lowering the car only cause the price of billy sports makes me cring. :curse: if I get started with the lowering game then Im in another grand !!!! And so here I go again thinking about my little E30 all day....

It looks like a donk, You are not mistaken. The difference between your car and the cars that look good with these is the ride height. Let's be honest and admit that stock cars have wheel gap like a Paris-Dakar team would shoot for-- bigger wheels just hurt the visual unless you lower the car.

Also, it's probably just a preference thing, but I like my E38 wheels cap-less. That might make a difference for you, or may not (I'm not sure how the re-drills look cap-less).

Someone 'chop this car down a couple inches for the man!

If that were my car, I would lose the 3rd brakelight and add a black iS lip. A little contrast in the ass end would smooth things a bit IMO.

Get some used H&R sports and keep your stock shocks and it will look better. Its the massive black part under your doors thats making the car look so donkish. A drop will do wonders, even a small one.

Otherwise, how much do you want to sell them for?

If he lowers it with those tires it'll look like ass. Stretch and a good drop will look bitchin
