chiming in again - I dont know why you are looking at bags, but, if you are looking at them just to go low, I would seriously look into just going for a static drop

this is my old benz and it was on cut springs - the cars I had seen bagged were not much lower than I was and my total cost for lowering was 3 angle grinder cutoff wheels and a spring compressor (side note: get yourself a proper spring compressor, klann type, and you will not hate your life doing the spring removal)



just some food for thought - not telling you not to bag it just laying it out there you can get plenty low and not be on air (btw daily drove that car all summer at that height without 1 issue)

I would look at the build thread on vortex for the green and cream benz (http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...olour-of-Money) for a bagged car

that thread more or less convinced me to go cut springs for the amount of work needed for bags and (as I remembered) the fact that he never actually laid frame to the floor

Hey evoDRichie, look up G60 CAB (Adam) on here, he's got/had a 83 Merc 500 SEC that's bagged. He used to live over in Dayton, OH but has since relocated to Germany for his employer. He might be able to give you some pointers.
