My new No show with no GO 318i

So heres the new deal I picked up locally here off of an guy in Lakewood. Got a pretty good deal I think, its been crazy, the prices on these are just going up, buying one is like an investment almost.

So I was looking for something to work on over the summer, and this one came across, The guy said that he went over a speed bump and cracked the oil-pan since the car is so freekin low, he then drove it and it felt weird (well duuuh) He then discovered the problem and changed the oil-pan, put new oil in and he said that he never got it to work after that. It sat for 2 months so he decided to put it up for sale asking $900

Came out there, didn't even try to start it, just looked around and picked her up for $700 the guy was supper cool, and easy going. He was saying that it was the first time he is selling something

Brought her home and the next day started to dig in, got a fresh battery in and started up just fine

Looks like there's another problem with the charging system, cause after a wile it started to die on me, but works fine with jumpers on from a running car. So I need a new alt.

    Little on the car:
-Its lowered supper low on some coils (RED color)
-Black basket weaves with new tires in the back
-Ebay headlights (I hate them so much, would never put those kind on) rather have the regular sealed beams
    -All trim blacked out
    -Black interior (I like)
-Set of gauges in the lower console
-Little dent in on the driver side grill
-Real crappy paint job :( It used to be black, wish it was black

Some of the things I did:
-Washed and cleaned out all the green stuff (been sitting for a while)
-Put my roof rack from a 90 civic (fits fine no need for new brackets)
-Volvo lip (had that laying around) good for scrapping off rats in the middle of the road
    -Relocated the front plates

    Things still to come:
-Got to get it running strait, tune up the engine
-Taurus side skirts (its ok no flames please) its just because I can
-Change out those headlights for sure
-Fix all the dent ins that are fixable
-Hope I can do something about the paint (respray)

Another thing is the the car was originally from Oregon, and the guy who I bought the car from doesn't know a lot about it, he never done any of the mods to it, I was hopping maybe the owner would recognize there car. Its ok Im not gonna be mad at you for a crappy paint job LOL.

for under $1000 seems like a solid car.

            sedan + 318i = great daily driver!

also, i dont know why, but those big fat tires make the 14" weaves look really good!

You probably don't need a new alternator, just new brushes. Good pickup!

great price. i could live with the headlights for the price for a little while... but the volvo lip has to be flipped the other way IMO......do that an its a good DD

Pretty cheap to pick up an alternator with a lifetime warranty.

Make an ad in the classifieds to swap those lights for ellipsoids...

Reminds me a lot of my car, keep us updated if you figure out what springs those are. Also, post pictures of the Taurus skirts on it/ your progress.
