    chrome.

chrome grills go with regular or smoked lights

black grills go with smoked lights only, especially on an otherwise unmodified car.

I was going to tuck my bumpers today, but I'm on the edge about it. I just don't want gaps n shit around the molding

i've tucked bumpers twice, on the front of the e30 you wont get gaps or they will be small and acceptable since its better than giant protruding bumpers.

Here's a picture of my wagon that I did a smoked front on. I dont think they look right when the headlights are still shiney bright.

Chrome, unless you mod it and put smoked Hella's in. Tuck bumpers or go with euros if you don't plan on doing a bumper swap to plastics. If you plan on leaving the bumpers as diving boards, just do a restore and keep it stock.

Painted bumpers always look like you can't afford Euros or Plastics, but they still beat stock DBs!

Chrome. Blacked out kidneys just look cheap to me, a BMW should have its chrome kidneys front and center.

Chrome! Spend your time on getting your bumper trim sorted. Get what you have back to black and find a proper front plate mount to fill the gap. DB's can look good when they are clean...

the black will fit better if you repaint the bumper trim and lip
