Yeah, and if anything, you could even do fix the valence.
Buy another straight one, and paint it yourself.
Shouldn't be too hard, its down there, and nothing a first timer couldn't do..

Thanks everybody for the kind words.
Was going to paint only the hood, not the whole car. Going to pass on flat black rattle can. Forgot that i could go to a local auto paint store and get some rattle cans calypso with clear. Thanks!!
Forgot to add fixing the valance to the list. Also need to roll my fenders.

Before I'd ever go buy something from paintscrach. I would see if you have a automotive paint shop around to match a can of paint from your car. Give em your gas door and they color match, instead of getting what it looked like from the factory. If you decided to do that. Wheels look proper though!

Honestly, before you even try getting other paint that might not (probably won't) match, try to just sand off all the clear (like 1000 or 1500 grit) and spray it with fresh clear. Maybe even like try a corner first and see how it looks. It won't hurt anything but could save you some money and it should be an almost prefect match.
Edit: The 'prefect match' is assuming the hood has never been repainted, which it might have been considering that ONLY that part is peeling really fuckin bad, and every other part of the car is fine. The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Wicked sick, that color is grand.
Glad you decided against flat blacking the hood, if anything on this planet is to be painted flat black, it better have a shitload of chrome and skulls on it, and still I won't like, just accept it.
Definitely get us some pictures after the hood is done up!Different strokes for different folks.

If you dont end up doing the rattle can calypso there is a chalkboard paint that might flow well. And you can have a chalkboard hood?
