    Well Worth The Wait

So after a few years of searching for a car, I finally found what I've been looking for. A mostly stock, low mileage '87 325is. Without further ado, here she is.

It came with lots of receipts, all routine maintenance at BMW dealerships up until about 93, a brake job in 94, and for the stainless catback two years ago. Apparently it's never been driven in the winter, and been kept in a garage for most of its life. No vibrations at all, and I'm not going to test if it shakes above 100 haha. Clutch and transmission are flawless, this car is perfect. And for half the price of what it's worth, I cannot be any more happy with this car.

in the future, euro weaves, euro bumpers, and sport springs/shocks. maybe a few other cosmetic things, but I can't really see anything else I'd want to change on this car, except maybe for the exhaust when I'm done with everything else, haha. Thanks for looking guys.

That said. Nice pickup! I have one as well. How is the ductwork under the front clip?

Also, please don't change the bumpers. That car is becoming rarer by the day. If you don't understand why, the front clip on that car is made for those bumpers, few have made it fit with different style bumpers. Keep it stock, only do minimal things to improve its performance. Trust me, I wish I did that to my 87.

the air dam is in pretty good shape. a little touch up work to the very bottom, but all the ducting underneath is perfect.
I actually found the car on ebay in New Jersey, title says the guy was the second owner, had it shipped up here the next day.
The only thing that isnt stock in the interior is the shift knob, still have the original, but its in bad shape. The guy before hit something in the front left, but only bent the support arm for the air dam, no visible damage, and on the front left under the mirror theres a small spot of paint chipped off from a small dent. other than that, there's just a little bit of rust on the rocker panels.
I'm going to keep this car completely stock and restore it as much as I can. There were TWO alarm systems installed at some point, so that's going to be some crazy endeavor later on, removing those. The power steering doesn't work, and I like the way it drives without it, so I'll be removing that eventually too.
Maybe some minor performance stuff later on down the road, but at this point I'm going to focus on keeping this car the classic it is.

Good idea, that "under ducting" is VERY rare. If you ever sell the fron clip, and the under ducting, please keep me in mind. I will give you good money for both.

Does it really have 88k miles on it?
