Haven't posted in forever in here. M Coupe

Only vehicle I've got right now.

Washed out picture, but I like it - and it hides the dirt!

God's Chariot being guided back to heaven? Or since it's a younger E30... Jesus? Enough religious references? I think so.

    And in color:

Almost sold it, glad I didn't. Will be getting some attention soon.

Thanks, and yes. Best "classic sports car" under 20k in my opinion.

Considering they used a lot of E30 designs in the car, I think BMW made this an enthusiast car from the start.

May I be the first to say...

                  Its no e30.

if bmw fesses' up, then maybe... Thats a big maybe.

Besides trailing arms, what other designs were used, just curious.

Not so much E30 designed... but the feel of it is similar thanks to the rear. It's like an S50 swapped E30 with 5 lug from an E36... because it is.

It was built by the engineers and true enthusiasts inside of BMW as an experiment to make the Z3 better, and more rigid, really before the Sales + Marketing knew. They had to sell the idea to those people to get it to the assembly line. In my mind it's one of the last true M Cars or enthusiast BMWs.
