You appear to be running adapters, but have better front fitment than almost everyone else.
You are wizard, yes?
HA! indeed. everything just lined up perfectly i guess. I can't even remember what the adapter thickness is now. running bilsteins and H&R sport springs though
Only issue is that the tires are massively oversized. They're 225/45R17 tires, which I originally was going to put on my Golf TDI before VW bought it back. About 1" too tall in diameter. Had major rubbing issues when performing near full lock turns.
However, one benefit, the car is quite high off the ground, despite having a pretty narrow fender to tire gap, so I never have to worry about my oil pan.
Planning on 215/40R17 or 205/45R17 tires next time I need them though.
We sold our 2012 VW TDI 6-speed back to VW after "diesel gate". I spent a lot of time thinking of what to do with those wheels since rumor had it, the 2012s have ECU that are not tune-able to meet EPA standards and that all of those cars were going to the crusher...
Found more accident damage than originally planned.
Once we opened it up, there was no turning back.
I'm told it will look like a show winner when it's done.
M3 is Imolarot, wagon is Zinnoberrot. They're actually pretty similar shades of red in person. By comparison, other BMW reds look orange next to Imolarot.
