Thanks man!! Im currently in Glassell Park (Avenues, HLxP, CxP area) and Im trying to save up in the next year to go get a pad in La Crescenta or Pasadena or possibly Eagle Rock. Im kinda tired of living around this shit. I grew up in Hollywood in the 80's and I was from a 'hood out there so I know full well where this shit leads. Up until recently it was affecting my life so Im 30, its time to hang up the gloves man. Plus I have a daughter and a baby boy on the way so Im on to other shit and making things better instead of making things worse.

Congrats on the upcomming boy. My wife asked me if I cared if we had a boy or a girl first and I said "as long as it's healthy", but I'd rather have boys.. lol

I grew up by Silver Lake, right below Bellevue Park, but my parents bought a house in HLP in 87. I love the architure in both Silver Lake and HLP, but the prices just don't drop, even with the gang wars going on right now.

My mom babysits my 3 year old, so I'm in HLP almost every day. Plus I often hit up The Bucket, Johnny's, The York and sometimes the Little Cave.

Did you go to Franklin? Because I did and graduated in 98.

I grew up in Highland Park, so I know about gangs. So far, I'm going on three years since the wife and I bought the house and I tell you, I do NOT miss the tagging one bit.
We had a storage bin out here for just a little over two weeks and no tagging.

His body-kit is extremely rare. If you can possibly some time take some better pictures of the car, the guys over on the 505 Forums would love to see his car.

My plan of action:
-adjusters coming over today, I'll listen to what he says and offers.
-I'll tell the guy who hit me what happened, and ask him to pay me a settlement, and I won't take the case to court.
-If he refuses, we're going to court.

Good luck with the insurance company, because they don't hand over money over for salvage cars. Especially a Peugeot, since there arn't too many comps. Your best bet is to prove to them, that you're restoring it and you have paperwork to prove it. Either way, good luck.

I got hit and run, on the other side of the rear, last year, less severe.
I paid that out of pocket, $450.

This though...he's insured, but mine's salvage title. Adjuster's coming tomorrow, but probably won't give much. I got estimated today for $6300.
Taking him to court for my car, and more importantly, my Neck, spine, and shoulder. I got hit pretty hard at a dead stop.

My coworker just got his out of the shop for a hit and run while it was parked. The only witness said it was a new Range Rover with no plates.

Kool, I will be at bimmerfest see you then. I was raised in Pasa. Once my kids grew, I balied do to gang influence,me be one of them, not good you know. I will be going back soon tho kids almost grown now and time to give back to my barrio this time in a good way..

Thanks guys. The weaves were crazy curb rashed and the tires were cracked from sitting too long. I got the wheels with almost new tires from one of peerless's customers for a good price, so I went for it. They're et25 and I don't my sporting them.

As for the drop, this is as low as I can go because of the incline on my driveway, I'll take a picture of it sooon. Plus I can't park on the street because pasadena doesn't issue permits unless you can prove there's no space in my driveway.
