You're looking at around $1600-$2k or more, depending on the shop. It's NOT cheap (extremely labor-intensive), and you get what you pay for.

yea, really not cost effective unless somehow you can do it yourself. Which if you could, you probably wouldnt have asked

^^Yeah a vinyl covered car can look really good if done well. It's typically cheaper than a really good paint job and reversible if you want to go back to stock. But like others have said its pretty pricey still.

Sorry if those pics turned out huge.

Sexy cars but when it comes down to it your car is coated in a really expensive sticker. Not worth it IMO. Most I would pay is like.. $500

I sort of see what you are saying, but its pretty labor intensive laying it down the right way. Also the high end vinyl is made to last 5 years or so before it shows and sign of fading/wear. If you get the quality stuff the vinyl is pricey by itself. But more so the labor.

I would rather invest in proper suspension, nice wheels and maybe M-tech kit

It's decently cheap if you do it yourself although it probably won't come out too good either unless you're really patient and even then it still won't be perfect.

Honestly, at the price you'd pay for all the materials to do it, you could get yourself a cheap Maaco paint job and that can come out decent if you do all the prep work yourself.

My friends car. Yes it is a glitter pink s13. For 100 square feet of vinyl (definitely enough with a lot left for mistakes), it was around $150. No it didn't come out spectacular. No it's not the best quality. But yes, yes it DEFINITELY attracted bitches.

When I did my MINI myself it came out at around $500. That included quite a bit of waste as you'll find that it is not at all an easy process. Exotic colors will run you considerably more.

Vinyl for "show cars" is more practical because it lets them change colors frequently, and is a small tag compared to 4k wheeels.

...Id say do it yourself or invest in paint
