New track car. mk1 content, be warned

1983 vw rabbit gti. 92k miles on chassis. 5 sp.
    1 owner car
    head ported & polished
    10.0:1 mehle pistons
    balanced & blueprinted
    neuspeed intake manifold
    drake engineering header
    borla exhaust
sachs hd clutch disc & pp
trans: 5th gear replaced with :74 ratio
neuspeed upper and lower strut bars
koni adjustables all around, 2" drop
    neuspeed swaybars
    delron bushings
    quick ratio sport steering
    neuspeed aluminum steering rack lock
    15" riken wheels
    aftermarket oil cooler
    happich rear pop-out windows
    hp estimated at 135-140

have grill, just need to repaint it.
interior is dirty but should clean up well, just need to fix tear in driver's seat bottom and replace headliner.
body is in great shape, original paint is pretty decent as well. weird reflection in the first pic, must have been a cone or something
Should look pretty good after a full detail.

After selling my e30 touring I figured it would be a while before I would have another track car, business is still eating up my funds. My business partner and I (daN on here) were thinking we should just split a track car (1 is easier to maintain than 2) and this kind of fell in our laps.

btw I have 2 pair of happich pop-out rear windows (besides the pair already on my car) new in box. 1 set for mk1 1 set is for mk2. Both for sale.

Nice, I'd love a Mk.I to tear up the track with. How 'trackish' are you going with it? Gutted and cagged, or somewhere in between?

I'd like to keep the interior in it, I'll be getting my dealer plate soon so it's nice to be able to hop in a car if I ever need to. Looking for a roll bar and harnesses though.

once my business is better established I'd like to get an e46m3 or m coupe and get into racing, this will hold me down for now

You can swap it. It is very common.
