I have to start out by apologizing to the r3v community. I've had my e30 for about a year now and have visited the forum on a frequent basis in search of advice, tips, and help with wrenching. I would like to contribute and give back to the community that has so inspired me to spend countless hours working on my ride. Thanks r3v!
Quick backstory: Purchased 1990 325i vert 5 speed in May of 2010 for $950. Exterior in good condition but needed a new top. Interior was perfect. Engine ran solid.
July of 2010: Installed new control arms, cabs, m3 rack, billstein hd's all around, e30 m3 springs in front, bavauto springs in rear.

January 2011: Swapped bottlecaps for 14" bbs bronze mesh wheels for $100.
February 2011: Plastic front bumper conversion (rear bumper awaiting in garage)
March 2011: Wife smashed the front-end into a delivery truck who pulled out in front of her. Bent the frame so insurance totalled the car but gave it back to me and reduced my settlement check from $2100 to $1900.:)

Plastic bumper and valence lived a short but sweet life. I've never really done frame and body work, but I figured I would give it a try. I found a buddy with a parts car who basically let me take anything I needed for $100. Got the hood, fender, grills, headlight, and valence. Next step was to straighten the frame. My buddy and I poured about 12 hours into getting everything pulled out.

I still have some tweaking and gaps to work out, but I'm not too concerned. Also, I found a nice little trunklid spoiler at the local Pick and Pull for $17.
Three weeks ago, I ran across these little beauties and decided to go crazy

Sprayed everything I could find

I'm very pleased with the turnout. Even my buddy Toby joined the fun with his e28

We also drilled all bumper shocks that day and did a little bumper tuck. Things are starting to look good.
Tonight's progress involved some body work. In preparation for the paint, I decided to grind down all of the dents and rough spots so I could hit them with bondo

Here's how she looked a few hours ago

Well, that's all for the pictures. I'll be picking up some Sportmax 002 15x8s this weekend. Those might call for some new springs, but we'll figure that out later. Thanks for reading and bearing with my pictures.
