Ya it seems if you go any lower than say 2/1.5 inches on these cars you WILL get bump steer. No matter how you have your shit set up. I am about to raise my car up as soon as I get shocks to get rid of my BS. It's very annoying on a DD.

Actually if you get the Ground Control tie rod spacers they help. They do not recomend them for street use though. Id have them if they were legal for my class.

I am so glad I clicked on this thread. I love it. I've got an 87is myself, but ditched the cow catcher for some euro bumps. Looking at your pics, i'm regretting not keeping them. Your car looks the business... especially with the 10 inch rims.

also, how are you clearing your fenders with the wide setup? Are you just running a super tall ride height?

The car is lower almost two inches. The suspension is pretty firm. I only run the wide wheels for racing. I have had them rub in the back due to up and down of the suspension. In the front with a lot of camber they dont rub. Though I had to cut some of the fender away at the rear. I plane to do some turbo style pop rivet flairs.
Ya my vow catcher takes some abuse from the cones and is held snugly by random placed zipties

I am sure I can come up with more pics. When I get my shocks back from the shop I plan to take some.

HMMM So after viewing a bunch of threads I have come to the conclusion I am all jacked up. My car needs to be inches lower. My self notched fenders are a party foul. Though I will buy spacers for my volks so I can be flush. JKJK:loco:

Its pretty much 0 et or 5 inch of back space. I also have a 5mm spacer on it as well.

                            The 15x10s are a 5.25 backspace or -6ET. I run a spacer which makes them a 0Et or 5.5 backspace.

HMMM I think youd be better off getting a new one from DTM fiber werks. Up close its pretty rough. My car is no beauty queen. She was when I got it but far from now. Though its tempting cause then it gives me an excuse o get another spoiler LOL
