Here's the E39 540i, I bought the car back in 2005 after my GS400 got totaled, car started out as 1999 540iA with sport package, I REALLY wanted an M-sport from 2003, but at that time they were still fetching for $50k+, so I settle with what I can afford, I bought it and lowered it on 19"s.
around 2006 I changed job and began working for WP Pro, so I used it as excuse began to modify the 540, last year was when the big stuff happened, the car was repainted and fixed the rust, Mike (Zimmie) & Jay (Mystikal) from stancefactory did the 6spd swap and all the engine service as well.
The mods:
- Ground Control suspension with Koni Yellows
- Mtech bumpers
- ACS roof spoiler
- 6Spd conversion
- SSK
- Magnaflow muffler
- Euro-spec Hella angel eyes
- Celis lense
- 19" Varrostoen wheels with Vredestein tires
- WP Pro BBK, 388mm with 12 pistons front, 385mm with 6 pistons rear
When I bought it, within a week I lowered it on H&R springs:
