          Yep still the m20 I have a stroker m20 on my garage floor out of my buddies car he decided to go for the s50. After he built the stroker he only put like 8,000 miles on it so I just need something else to get me around so I can put it in

            That is a lot of miles, these cars really are reliable and will go forever. Is your stroker a 2.7?

                my 90 318is has been in my family since it was brand new 21 years ago, and i only replaced the original clutch last october.

                just shows how good these cars are when they are taken care of.

                oh and the odo stopped working about 8 years ago on 240,000 Kms.

                    They will certainly last. My 318is had 316k when I sold it, still see it running around. My swap car had 287k when I decided to pull the M20.

                        I bought my 325es with 245,000 and unfortunately traded it in for a 99 Passat in 2001, it had 333,xxx miles on it when I abandoned her
