    new goodies

added my much needed Spa digitals and some fun suspension - quick pics...

the EGT readout is awesome - it really works well. The water temp guage is awesome - if you turn the car on in the morning it reads bassically the outside temperature (or almost what the OBC is saying) and it reads to the tenth of the degree. Its a really good setup that really doesn't bother visibility in that position....

Looks good. How do you like the CABs? I have a set on the way too. Can't wait.

            thanks guys -
ken - yes the car is at it again - but i've got one other issue to sort out before i flog the hell out of it

RCWells - i love them. I put on Aluminum arms at the same time, so the difference was quite drastic over stock CABs and steel arms.

            cheers fellas

I know they're lighter, but how does the aluminum control arms effect anything other than weight?

RC, they have stronger ball joints. They will last longer, take more track abuse. The prices on them have been rising quite a bit in recent years though, I think steel arms are better cost/benefit.

it is less unsprung weight at the wheels, which will also help with bumpy areas. I put them on my M3 a few years ago, and honestly I really didnt feel the slightest bit of difference. but it is a huge bling factor and you can also brag about them!!!!!:)

                        Lookin good, man.

My alum. arms are about due for replacement and I can't decide whether to get another alum. set or just go steel. The alum. ones came on mine from the factory and I kinda feel like I'd be cheapening the car by putting steel ones on. Kinda like dropping in an m50 because the s14 blew and didn't want to pay for the rebuild.
