my new daily driver that I quickly built last week - Mercedes content

I picked up this mint 1988 300CE w124 coupe few weeks ago. Not a spec of rust, all service history records since day 1, original window sticker, amazingly maintained ! Car was $53k in 1988 when brand new E30 M3 was $33k ...

    when I got it

    today

    original window sticker

    sales brochure

    maintenance receipts

so first thing when I got it was the suspension. Bilstein sport shocks with H&R sport springs

    difference between stock and H&R

Euro headlights (next to ugly US lights)

next thing was the rims. I found an original set of AMG Monoblocks but they needed work

    tires are new 215/45/17

I did a lot of maintenance on the car, full tune-up, replaced front camshaft seals, oil, etc

here is what I got today

Nice & clean! One thing I'm not a fan of is the front smoked corner lights. I think those should be clear instead, OR left amber just like the rears.

Absolutely gorgeous!! The only thing that could make it better would be two more doors...exactly where I'm going with my next project. Wheels, suspension, and headlights gave it a completely fresh look! Props.

I really actually like those corners. They have an interesting color to them. The colormatched wheels look great on it as well.

Tinted tails might be a good match for the front.
