Since everyone else is posting their DD's

I bought this car back in December as an early Christmas present to myself. 2001 540/6 sport with 104k and OEM hellas, OEM M5 bumpers, H&R race springs and a Magnaflow muffler. I found out that e39's with summer tires do nothing in the snow however, so I didn't drive it much. When spring came around I decided that the muffler was much too quiet so I cut if off and welded a straight pipe on, keeping the tips. I put about 1500 miles on the car before the chain guides died on me. I let it sit and fixed my other broken car (stupid e30), but that broke again so I fixed this one lol. I have about 2000 miles on it now. I'm dying to lower it more, I've been looking for a deal on some coils but I think I'm going to break down and buy a set of new BC's. I got a deal on a set of staggered 18" Rondell 58's that I need to refinish as well.

    The GF amusing herself lol

I had been looking for an Orient blue e39 for close to a year before I found this one. Oxford green wasn't even in my top 5 color choices but the car was perfect everywhere else so I bought it. The color has grown on me a lot since then. It's nice to have an odd color car too.

Amazing color, the exhaust looks proper too.

Wow that color looks crazy good on an e39. Nice, with a drop and 58's that thing will look mean? Are you Rondells staggered?

Yeah 8.5's and 10's. I want to build a set of big-lipped Futuras but these will (hopefully) hold me off for a while. They're spray painted black right now unfortunately, I need to strip them down and redo them a nice OEM silver.

I really like this car. E39 540i/6 is on the short list of considerations for my next car.

Oh, and I dig the wheels. One of the better OEM E39 offerings. Only ones I like more are the style 32s and obviously the M5ers.

Nice dude! I really like those wheels, more than the m5 wheels. I think these, and style 32/m-parts and m-systems are one of the best wheels for the 5s :)

Really like the e39 540i/6, especially if they are sport or m-sport!

Lovely E39. I love Oxford Green, it's super stealth and looks very classy.

                        Nice ride!

I like them too, but they look so small! They're 17x9's and this car eats them up haha

It's a respray because the car is from Georgia and the clear was fading, but it is Oxford. Oxford looks like crap usually because no one treats it nice.
