Yeah, I kind of like those. The reason behind that style is they are not allowed to run regular wings per their class rules (they aren't in SM)...

But, i'll get a spare trunk lid of this of course.

      M3 wing and gurney flap?

It still wouldn't look right but it'd look way better than the cheesy stuff most of the other guys settle for.

So I put softer pads and new rotors on the car for next rounds this weekend as the hawk hp+ pads were almost too good. Should work, but we'll see tomorrow.

Great looking car Jean, and that cobra on the CCW's!

what is the difference you've noticed between the worn out diff and the 4 clutch pack diff?

The first day it was getting used to it, as it really changed the way car handles coming out of the corners/accelerating.

With the worn out diff you can get away with getting on the gas EARLY w/o getting in too much trouble, but with a fresh/tight diff this requires more finesse? Give it too much and you go sideways or spinning.

If you watch one of the clips I've posted from previous runs with the worn diff you'll notice / hear the car trying to come out of the corners but all it was doing is spinning one of the two rear tires. It was a waste of time AND TIRE, now it seems the limiting factor is the tire and us (driver/codriver) getting the most out of it.

Looking at the last runs stats, car would have actually taken 1st place in street mod by almost a FULL second over the GT (300hp/suspension/good driver and 285s on all 4) if it wasn't for hitting a cone at the end. So it has deff. made a huge difference in results.

                Well worth it imho!

Do you think the diff upgrade you did would still be worthwhile if your car w/B35 was only street driven on street tires? Pros and cons?

Well, a super tight diff is not good on a street as it chirps the tire at low speeds when cornering. Other than that, I don't see anything bad but it's not really necessary for street use since you wouldn't really be going 10/10ths on the street anyway. Maybe in rain you'll have to be even more careful...

Jean do you then recommend the stock LSD just as BMW built them for our cars or with some tweaking but not as much work as you did to yours. What is the easiest way to test the diff to see if it is functioning at least as BMW inteneded it when new or if it is worn out?

I'd say an oem config with 2 new discs is just fine for street as BMW intended it. But realisitically it all depends on your driving style/setup, but for street use I still think a factory config is good.

To test, you would see how much torque it takes to turn the rear wheels in different direction. I believe the factory spec is 75 or 85 ft/lb. If it's less, then it's worn. Mine was at less than half of that.

Lookin fast Jean!! What Swaybars are you running? Are those kumho tires you run street legal? I may go with those instead of the Hancooks next time around.

Front cabrio bar, no rear bar. They are DOT street legal, but will wear fast if you daily on them. 30 treadwear.
