The top was replaced two months ago. That's pretty much what sold the car. It's not a OEM canvas top though, so IDK how long that will last.

I think it's got some aftermarked Mtech II look-a-like kit on it. It's an '89, so should have diving boards. The plastic bumper conversion also sold it, as it meant I wouldn't have to do it.

I would just swap a 5sp in and roll with the M20, but I'd rather upgrade. I've got a B34 sitting in the barn, just need a trans, clutch, and M5 flywheel to be set. I have mounts, ECU, M1.3 conversion parts, etc, so I'm gold.

Yup. 'Verts didn't get plastics until 1991 (10/90 build date). 'Verts were built in the 5 series plant. Therefore they are a little different.

Thanks guys! Last night I got put in a >new< si board to get my tach and MPG working. Someone had clipped some wires so the OBC still worked, so I had to do some splicing. Now everything works great!

Also swapped the ignition and trunk lock from my parts car so I could at least lock the car to some extent (someone swapped the ignition lock at some point, so the key didn't match the doors/trunk). May do the door locks tonight.

Gave her a good rub down, hopefully gonna get some nice shots this weekend on the parkway.

Verts for the Win! Need a little reinforcements in the rear though to get rid of that chassis flex. Im definitely going to need to add a lot because i am going turbo. im thinkin a half cage type thing in the rear seat area.

So, sold this 'vert back in October. It just resurfaced on Clist.

Sadly, she's garbage. New owner took the interior all out and shit on it. Took the dash out and cut all the wires.

FML.

i have a 89 325i project vert automatic. its black with a black top. now the interior is out of the car dash and all but i have everything in mint shape except the rear seat and pasenger seat. and its not getting anything to the starter so somethings unplugged or bad ground the only reason the dash was pulled was the previous owner was going to turn it into a scca car. and i picked it up from him after he pulled the dash. everythings good i just cant figure out the bmw wiring im sure its something dumb im over looking thats so plain and simple. now for the good stuff its got H&R lowering springs bilstein shocks . brand new top. 4.10 lsd factory bbs weaves in mint shape. True mtech front and rear bumpers this would be a awesome car for anyone. i just have a jeep now and want to put my time into that. i know what the cars worth im not going to ask a arm or a leg just make a reasonable offer or tr for a nice full xj lift plus cash or possible straight trade depending on the lift kit. or xj aftermarket stuff. or a nasty sound system plus cash. or straight trade depending on the system. im not a dumbass. will i am but i know most of whats what and if not i can easily find out so dont sit there and bs. text 5404570217 for pics and what you got. my jeeps a 88 xj thank you
