HDR images

This is great. If you're HDRing it'd be nice to get a little detail into the pass. side of the car though.


All the other shit in here is downright awful.

Thanks man. Would increasing the detail on the passenger side be more of post editing or actual composition? I know what you mean though. I took that photo using bracketing and no tripod. IIRC I think I had to actually get photoshop to align the images for me when I combined them, and I know thats usually not a good thing.

For best results use a tripod.

Assuming your bracketing a more exposed shot you could use that part of the image where the darker parts of the car are. I don't know how to do this with slider software that wouldn't make the dark part of the bridge come out a lot as well - which I wouldn't consider desirable.

Technically this is HDR, where I manually chose which parts of the car to be darker lighter. I did it somewhat quickly and I'm not really happy with the image, but it's a similar idea. I laid the differently exposed layers on top of each other and painted in the areas I wanted brighter / darker etc.
