Do you think your motors for the top work and they just need a reset? I am turning mine into a manual. Getting rid of the motors. I have a Calypso Red '92.

I thought it was called "Nordic Green" in '92, but i guess my research was flawed.

My '88 had "HID" lights, are those ok?

Hazarding a guess...angel eyes are a little cliche here?

can I use a early M wheel like my '88 had? or do i have use a later one?

havent a clue, scored a complete working pair (both sides, with wiring) for 200 bucks, have some linkage with them too.

figured might as well have a spare pair if mine turn out to be toast. have to find a shop manual to cover this.

I really don't have a problem w/ angel eyes and had them on my vert for years but whatever I was thinking back in '05 started not looking right to me, so I recently replaced them w/ smoked HELLAs.

I wouldn't be swayed by the opinions of the masses though. Ultimately you gotta do what you like. Nah mean?

been researching some more, the car was built in Regensburg in June of '92, it is a 325iCA (which i guess means convertible, no clue as to the A)

did lots of reading and it seems a couple of guys used to decode vins, but no longer do so. Is there a way to decipher the rest of the vin and specs?

                      A is for Automatic (transmission)!

and according to the receipts for my cabbie, the power top mechanism was replaced three times under warranty. I think the majority of people with power tops have changed them to manual, as mine has been

Look under your back seat there is a options list there (I think). That'll tell you alot about you're car.
