I found a set of OEM e34 rubber mats of eBay.de and had to find a way to get them here.

Well a member on bcbimmers.com started a service to help people acquire and bring their goodies home with minimal headache.

So I contacted Aaron of A2Bimports.com, he took care of the payments and shipping of the package back to Canada. Then Ben (the B of the A2B) sent me a message that my package arrived and I picked it up this afternoon.

The service these guys provide is painless, they provide great communication and the fee is very reasonable. I would not hesitate to use them again if I find other items I need help acquiring.



I got to say that these OEM mats are heavy which is a good sign of their quality.





They fit perfectly as expected and anchor down through the carpet too

Vancouver is known for its rain and after the nice 6 weeks of Summer weather Fall is now here, the sun doesn't come out as much and it makes planning mods a bit harder if you need outdoor space.

Today we got a nice dry day and I took advantage of it to adjust the ride height of the Ground Control coilovers I recently had installed and power wash the dirt from the underbody.

The shop that installed them set the rear height a bit too low for my liking, I don't have pictures but imagine the fender lip covering 1/2 of the tire. When I go over a big dip in the road I can hear the tire kiss the inside of the fender.

The wheel wells originally looked like this




After hitting the wheel wells and underbody with the power washer for a while the caked on mud was finally all gone and I proceeded to raise the rear end up 1.0" and this is the end result






I think this ride height looks great, but the front and rear fender lips have been pulled and this leaves a big gap between the edge of the tire and fender lip which I don't like.

The front fender and I am going to try putting in a 10mm spacer.



This is the rear fender and I have already have a 20mm spacer on there with a 18x10 wheel with a 275/40/18 tire. I am thinking of trying a 25mm spacer or maybe run a 285/40 tire to close up the gap.
