I just read the thread from start to finish. I like your approach to car ownership.

The E34 M5 is looking great and really coming back to life.

I did not know until I sold my Audi wagon that I need a car to transport large boxes of goods that I make.

In the wagon with seats folded down I can carry 3 boxes, now I can carry only one box in the back seat of the M5. So the M has to go so I can get something else, as making 3 trips to deliver what I used to in one trip just is not going to work.

Veronica is beautiful! I'm going to take a guess that you live in NVan based on the pictures? I wish I had the time/space to even half of the things you've done, but downtown condos don't really have the space to do your own work.

It has been suggested but doing a transplant to make a Frankenstein car is not an option.

                    Good guess for the location.

I just get obsessive when it comes to the cars I own, this one I went a bit overboard on.

I'll never understand people who do this. Seriously buy a $1500 beater hauler on Craigslist or whatever you guys use up there and call it a day.

+1000 and it will be a tax deduction in your business too!

well, making some assumptions based on how you implied you build/sell stuff.... meets the def of a business

I forgot to mention that each car I own also doubles as a demo/show car for products that I make, so the M5 is already a tax deduction for the business

Why don't I just buy a beater? Because that means I have to drive a beater.

I enjoy driving too much to waste driving time in one.

Well I was the same way as you.. I just learned to deal with driving a truck I didn't really care about for utility over driving a car that I did care a lot about and enjoyed.

From what I can tell is that you don't really like your e34 m5 as much as you did your e30 and now are looking for a reason to unload it and get another e30 ;)
