Yeah, too big of a rim doesn't work. Maybe could go as big as 17's on an E9 (depending on the rims themselves) but I hate to sacrifice performance and function for style.
You wreck E30s, I save E9s

My introduction to BMW's was the E9's and E3's of a friends family. I still really like both of those cars but the coupes are so good looking. That car definitely deserves to live again. BTW, both E3 and 9 look great on 16" wheels open lug Alpinas and BBS RS being the top picks.Comment

This guy goes through cars like a dealership, to many for this post, but here goes a short description especially in the last few months... goes from one of these

and sells it for one of theses

few months ago gets this

and I do this to it

he then sells it to get this

buys and then sells these never getting them on the car

and now sells it to start all over in 1999 and buy the same wheels again(turbines)

I'm going to have to get repelling gear to go into his pockets for this project, cant say he doesn't keep me busy especially after he pushed me into finishing both of these

I think I just thread jacked...Oh well gonna start making room for the E9..you better freaking keep this one!Comment

that picture of the e9 sitting under the tree with all that rust really scares me. e9's are beautiful cars, but man.. they are built to collect rust.. doesnt look promising. any more pictures?E30 325I > SOLD

I like flush but with decent sized tyres. Not 245's on an 8" but something decent, 205-225/50/15 on a 15x8 etc.
None of that rubber band spec crap.Comment

Some like to track their cars, some like to have cars that they think look good to drive around on the street.
