Look what I just picked up on the low...

So after I laid my 87 325e to rest back in 09 I picked up an e36 hatch for a cool grand and made it my DD up until today. That day two years ago I said I would be back in an e30 if it was the last thing I did and so since July 09 I have been searching craigslist and various forums, waiting for one to go up at the exact moment when I was ready to buy. Well today was that day... except I did not find that ever so elusive e30 but rather...

It's no e30 but how could I turn down a M3 for the deal of the year.

Sport I think although it does not have the twisty side skirts. It has vaders and non-wood trim so I don't know. I'll have to run the vin.

$3000. It runs and drives well, has a ding here or there but for a 96 they are pretty minimal. High miles at 210,000.

Darn thing is straight up bone stock.
Looks like a typical unmolested highway driven M3.
And i assume that i has been maintained otherwise it would not be at 210k.
Let the upgrades begin. $3000, i am jealous.

I was expecting this comment from someone lol. It really is bone stock and has a stack of maint. along with window sticker and some of the original paperwork. Spent the first 14 years of its life in Dallas, Tx until it came up to Virginia.
