            he means that he doesn't want the subject (i.e. the car) backlit, although it gives a nice effect, it doesn't allow the viewer to admire your car, it drowns the details of your car out. We can really only admire the outline of your car. Use side lighting. It compliments the lines and textures of your car and try to shoot your car at dawn or dusk.
